Floral Arrangement-14x17" pencil

A combination of orange roses, burgundy and white chrysanthemums, burnt orange daisies, hypericum berries and arcs of bear grass with a ti-leaf-lined square glass vase give this flower arrangement a range of colors and textures that make it a perfect centerpiece for my family's Thanksgiving table.

Two distinct spaces. One being a combination retail, commercial, and apartment complex with a giant porte cochere. Supported by large columns, the entire building has thick industrial glass tiles covering a shallow pool of water with a reflective bottom and LED lighting at the base, reflecting the building and creating a double image. The curved, reflective glass paneled walls of the structure give it a sculptural quality that is mirrored by the topographically styled gradual steps descending from the structure. The second space is a pool pavilion influenced by I.M.Pei’s Glass Pyramid at the Louvre, and classical architecture mixed with modern luxuries. Modern, sculptural fire pits can be found in the middle of the pavilion seating area and by the custom arched stainless steel handlebars of the pool. A custom branch chandelier highlights the pavilion; while custom curved marble benches provide seating around the fire. Tufted Sunbrella upholstered chaises lend seating to the poolside.

This Beaux-Arts building adds a counterpoint to the minimalist white marble fireplace, modern drip-print artwork and oversized 70's inspired chrome sconces. Two sleek urns house orchids on the mantle, while a Carrara marble topped and sided Macassar ebony chest has brass rounded pulls and is topped by a container of mini callas. An empire-inspired armchair has luxurious Macassar ebony wood siding and white suede seating. The tufted couch is a plum colored velvet with a silk/wool rug grounding a 70's inspired brass and mirror cocktail table. The window displays a Murano-glass tall bamboo vase while purple silk drapes add richness to the Parisian flat.

This luxurious bathroom has mirror-finished black marble inlaid into the white marble. Contrasts define the space as LED white stripes line the room in between dark black marble walls. A soaking tub with floor-mounted faucet is accompanied by a black marble vanity with double vessel sinks and wall mounted motion activated faucet "spouts". The shower space has a matte coral tile with body sprays and a window incorporated into its walls with hinge less glass in the black marble.

The fireplace wall has a cubist wall mirror sculpture above its thick zebrawood mantel, and to the right of the fireplace is a wall-mounted bench and built-ins to display art and books. A 1920's Hollywood movie light adds intrigue to the seating area composed of a 1970's tufted low linear charcoal velvet couch and Ligne Roset swivel chair. Lacquered nesting tables and a "puzzle-piece" 60's inspired mirrored coffee table complete the area. A catwalk with glass railings is situated above the dining room with Swarovski crystal icicle chandelier and Swedish Neoclassical-inspired dining chairs. The kitchen countertop is stainless steel with Macassar ebony cabinets.

Manhattan Penthouse-10x11.5" pencil

This masculine hard-edged penthouse asserts itself with black marble floors in the entry, an art deco asymmetrical stepped entryway, and oversized Macassar ebony doors with brass horseshoe knockers. Two art deco consoles flank the entry with a vaulted ceiling with skylight illuminating the space. A paneled mirror alcove creates the impression of added depth in this city high-rise with its Macassar ebony French art deco bench situated in the middle. A python paneled wall adds a luxurious hard-edged sheen with its French art deco scissor handled sconce providing light. The focal point of the living room is its white marble with mirror in-between chimney and black marble base anchoring the rock inserts in the fireplace. The mirror polished white marble floor reflects the custom Danish modern sectional and a branch light fixture in the corner. The mirror polished chrome cantilevered asymmetrical coffee table is topped with exotic python to add richness to the space.

Hampton's Pool-9x11" pencil

The symmetrical and classic lap pool with manicured hedges framing the view of the ocean is made interesting with Aztec-inspired "floating gardens" of orchids to aesthetically enhance the space. Large-scale coral-tile pavers have reindeer moss growing between, and in front of each chaise is a zebrawood storage bench for towels and water, along with recessed outdoor floor fixtures at the foot of each bench. Javanese coconut pots add a large scale to the lap pool, while crisp white marble benches pop against the greenery of the hedges. Hand blown glass light globes are put over zinc planters for ambiance.

This circular room has dark charcoal velvet walls, dramatic recessed lighting is incorporated into the walls around the cubist mirror sculpture and the floors are mirror-polished white marble inlaid with mirror-polished black marble. The custom to the curve of the wall tufted croc-embossed leather bench provides seating, while the entry table has Macassar ebony top with a sculptural, almost hand-like polished chrome base. To reflect the sculptural base a circular mirror anchors the table. A custom smoky Murano glass sculpture has chrome strips welded to it and a cache of bulbs illuminating the fixture from within. Minimalist art on the left wall floats above the simple white marble console while Javanese coconut pots flank the doorway on the opposite side of the room.

Thoughtfully laid-out for maximum efficiency, this ocean front villa has an asymmetrically stepped entryway and oversized zebrawood door with pull. Once inside the guest is invited to a large white marble fire pit that helps to define the foyer and living space to the left, and a sunken-in dining room with an organically shaped Barlas Baylar dining table. The master suite is off to the side of the dining room overlooking the ocean and pool and has a unique desk-bed piece that maximizes space. The master bathroom features organically shaped Porcelanosa vessel sinks and tub, with body sprays in the shower area and wall mounted faucets. Garden Shed-18x24" pencil

A prefab structure for the modernist home owner with a pension for gardening. It incorporates transom windows and linear stainless steel light fixtures, both recessed at the base, and a sconce for direct light. Its stained teak door with oversized pull plays with proportion and the sleek white chaise in front invites the homeowner to relax in the sunlight. Teak stepping tiles layed out with the wood grains perpendicular add contrast as they are layed over dark, rich lava rock. Adding a bit of flair to the stark structure is a tapered zinc potter planted with bamboo, horstail and orchids.
